Introducing Yooda! Born on April 21, 1981, Yooda is a talented American artist, songwriter, and record producer who hails from the beautiful city of Miami, Florida.
During his childhood, Yooda had the opportunity to live in various neighborhoods in Miami because of his mother’s job. By residing in different areas like South Miami, Liberty City, Carol City, and Richmond Heights, he was able to experience the diverse Miami culture and embrace it wholeheartedly.
Yooda started his musical journey as a teenager, inspired by his older brother (Vido No Shake of Piccalo) and his love for making music and performing. Accompanying his brother to shows ignited a strong passion within him and instilled the determination needed to pursue his own musical craft.
In 2002, Yooda began his journey as a member of the hip hop group Junkyard Squad, releasing two albums together: Laugh Now, Cry Later in 2003 and Da Predator in 2005. After some time, the group peacefully decided to pursue their own individual projects.
Yooda has had the amazing opportunity to showcase his talent across North America, and more recently, he gained international recognition by performing in Ocho Rios, Jamaica for the International Kite Festival, where he delighted thousands of fans. It’s evident that this artist is on an upward trajectory, and we can look forward to even more exciting things from him, including his upcoming album titled Fresh Out of Favors.
