Khloé Kardashian Ex-Boyfriend Spills Tea On The ‘Kardashian Curse’

While Khloé Kardashian‘s marriage to ex Lamar Odom and relationship with Tristan Thompson may seem to be her most notorious love connections, many people tend to forget that she was once entangled with yet another NBA star—former Sacramento Kings player Rashad McCants. And now, all these years later, he’s spilling the Hilarious tea.

The revelation comes after McCants appeared on the “TFU Podcast” and explained that he met Kardashian over a decade ago while he was playing in the league. He shared how they only dated for seven months and that he ultimately parted ways with the reality TV star due to the pressures of the spotlight.

“I think this was ’09, so this is Facebook’s inception. So, Facebook just came about, I remember I posted—I changed my relationship status to it’s complicated,” McCants said. “This is what did it all, and then MediaTakeout posted that ‘Rashad McCants Puts ‘It’s Complicated’ On His Facebook Status.’ And she asked me about it, ‘why you put it’s complicated?’ ‘Cause it is b*tch.”

He went on to say that the relationship was not what it seemed and that the two of them had an agreement that involved McCants only dating her to “help her do some sh*t.” He even went so far as to say that he never like Kardashian in the first place and was instead attracted to her sister, Kim.

“We had an agreement. This is not ‘I like you.’ I like your sister. It’s complicated. I’m here for different reasons, so are you,” McCants said.

But after a little over half a year, the former NBA star decided to end things as it felt like she was “doing too much.” And as it turns out, he hasn’t run into her ever since they broke up.

“I haven’t seen her since. What? That’s like 15-16 years now…Haven’t even been in the same room. I seen her friends though, they threw some drinks on me and sh*t…real ‘Love & Hip-Hop type sh*t. Real ghetto sh*t, but yeah. It happens, man,” McCants said.

Later, when one of the podcast hosts asked him if the “Kardashian Curse” was real, McCants responded: “I don’t know, man, I’m not cursed. I got out! I got out, you gotta ask Lamar [Odom] that sh*t. He still having nightmares. Him and Ray J. You seen Ray J? Do it look like the curse [is] real? Have you seen Kanye? Them three? Ask them.”

There’s been much chatter about the so-called “curse” for years now, with the famous family even leaning into the online joke at times. But just hearing how McCants described their arranged relationship all those years ago has us feeling like those ladies have been some serious plotters and schemers for a long time. And nothing good rarely comes out of that.
