Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary celebration of his iconic debut album, “Reasonable Doubt,” kicked off at New York’s Yankee Stadium, but as clips from Beyoncé’s surprise appearance went viral online, viewers quickly shifted their attention to the undeniable resemblance between the mother and daughter, with some calling her “baby Tina.
Performing the hook originally delivered by Mary J. Blige on “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” Mrs. Carter stepped out in a gorgeous black, glittery pinstripe capri suit with her signature voluminous hair, ready to perform alongside her husband. Hitting the stage, The Carters instantly brought back the chemistry and energy fans loved from their 2018 “On The Run II” tour.

While fans adored watching Beyoncé celebrate her husband’s career milestone, the internet quickly became distracted by a striking family resemblance. Social media was instantly flooded with double-takes comparing the superstar to her mother. “I don’t know if it was the hair, but today I thought Beyoncé looked identical to Tina Knowles,” one X user wrote. Others quickly agreed, with one TikTok commenter dubbing her “definitely baby Tina,” while another chimed in,
“Every pic that I see of her tonight I have to double back on because she looks so much like Tina,” another X user added as they reposted clips of the concert.
The family affair continued throughout the night as Jay-Z welcomed hip-hop royalty like Nas, Alicia Keys, and Memphis Bleek to the stage. He even debuted a fresh haircut courtesy of Beyoncé, who gave him a quick trim backstage. But the real showstopper remained the powerhouse Carter-Knowles genetics. The look-alike legacy came full circle when Blue Ivy, looking just like her father and mother, joined Jay on stage to play the piano melody for “I’m Feelin’ It.”
