‘Making a Fricking Fortune’: Trump Shrugs Off Brutal Gas Prices in Stunning Admission, Then Report Reveals the Jaw-Dropping Sum He’s Raking In

President Donald Trump is making millions of dollars off oil and gas stocks since he launched the war on Iran.

That’s according to a new report from Democrats on the Senate’s Joint Economic Committee.

He made a shocking admission Tuesday morning to reporters, telling them Venezuela has personally given him “a boatload” of oil.

“We took over Venezuela very successfully, and they’ve sent me as a gift a boatload of, a million barrels of oil,” he astoundingly bragged.

Yet the president of the United States told voters in Mississippi Monday that he was prepared to launch his war despite sky-high gas prices hurting struggling Americans.

“Somebody had to do this, and you know what? I don’t want to belittle it cause it’s a big thing, but I thought the price of oil was going to go much, much higher,” Trump stunningly admitted before acknowledging it didn’t matter to him how high gas prices increased.

“And I was fully prepared to do it because we really had no choice. Should have been done a long time ago,” he said.

Critics contend Trump intentionally attacked Tehran to line his own pockets and those of his family and cronies.

Then the president said something even more outrageous, opponents contend.

“We didn’t start the war with Iran. Iran started the war with us,” Trump claimed, looking around to gauge the reaction of such a blatantly false statement.

Trump, along with Israel, launched a massive military attack on Iran on Feb. 28 without congressional approval or informing the American public.

The muted crowd barely responded to either of Trump’s eye-popping statements.

While stumping for embattled GOP candidates in Georgia just two days earlier, Trump made even more confounding remarks.

“While oil prices are temporarily high and will be falling dramatically in a short period of time, as soon as that war’s over cause there’s so much oil,” Trump again told supporters in Perry in central Georgia, “The United States’ oil and gas business is making hundreds of millions of dollars.”

“So, our country is making hundreds of billions of dollars cause of what’s happened in the Middle East cause they’re coming to Texas and they’re coming to Oklahoma and they’re coming to Louisiana,” he repeated without explaining who’s coming to those states.

“So, we’re making hundreds and hundreds of billions, trillions of dollars,” Trump crowed for the third time, increasing the amount he says Big Oil is making each time he said it.

He went on to falsely claim that gas prices would soon drop over the past six months.

“What we’ve done for this country, we’re making money like this country has never made before. So, I said let me say it very gingerly, very softly, cause somebody will say, the fake news: He’s bragging about making money while people are suffering,” Trump shouted, apparently clueless about just how much more struggling Americans are paying for gas without an increase in their wages.

He fell back on his tired playbook of blaming former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

“I could just see the fake headlines. President Trump is talking about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump. That’ll be the headline, but I said I don’t give a damn. I’m going to say it. We’re making a fricking fortune,” he boasted.

It’s unclear who he is talking about and who is making a “fricking fortune.” He gave it away in his speech in Mississippi, when he admitted the big oil companies are cashing in on high oil and gas prices. And of course he’s making a personal fortune on skyrocketing fuel costs, too.

The Senate JEC reported Monday that Trump has personally made almost $36 million in just the past year on his oil and gas holdings after launching his war on Iran. His net holdings have now increased to $81.6 million, a 43 percent increase in value, the committee reported.

Social media quickly responded, pointing out just how much Trump stands to benefit personally in almost every policy decision he makes.

“Higher oil prices means more money in HIS pockets,” an X user stated. Others agreed. “He doesn’t give a damn because he’s making a freakin fortune!”

This commenter pointed out, “I’m sure he was prepared to … blame someone else. He doesn’t have to pay for the fuel he burns! He gets to blow MILLION$ worth and doesn’t give it a second thought, since WE, the taxpayers, pay the costs.”

Another noted Trump’s disdain for how high prices are. “Trump is hinting he’s gonna drive the oil prices higher.”

Americans are currently paying an average of $4.26 a gallon for unleaded fuel, more than $1.20 higher than a year ago, according to Triple A. And for diesel, it’s much more. It’s currently $6.35 a gallon, up from $3.66 a year ago.
