NBA star Jaylen Brown may have traded his Boston Celtics jersey for the Philadelphia 76ers—but he’s not giving up his Boston home anytime soon. Now, he’s letting fans look inside his bachelor pad in a new celebrity home tour for Architectural Digest.
He purchased the 4,000-square-foot penthouse in late 2023 for an undisclosed amount. But it’s fair to assume, based on his previous property, that he spent a few million dollars. The newly remodeled space features a speakeasy, a see-through wine cellar, a custom pool table, and even an 18th-century harp. Believe us when we tell you there’s luxury and chic design at almost every turn here, so keep reading for a closer look at Brown’s stylish Boston home!
The Living Room
The overall theme of Brown’s house was largely inspired by James Bond–if he lived in Boston. The muted color palette and classic furniture pieces make the home look simple and chic.

The Living Room Harp
This reimagined, 18th-century harp is one of Brown’s favorite pieces in his home. It’s also one of the most expensive (though he admitted he didn’t exactly check the price tag).
The Star-Gazing Telescope
A lover of the stars, astronomy, and space, Brown often uses his telescope to gaze into the skies. However, he regularly uses it to people-watch as folks go by in boats and walk on the sidewalks below.
The Kitchen
While Brown put his unique design touches on multiple areas in the home, the kitchen only got a paint job. The cabinets were darkened to align with the sleeker, sexier vibe of the home.
The Pool Table & Dining Room Banquette
Brown is a fan of open concepts, but not formal dining rooms, so he opted to “break down a lot of structure” and put a giant pool table in the middle of the space. He also decided to add an 18-foot-long banquette along the wall to optimize the space.
The Bar
Although Brown isn’t a big drinker, he’s not opposed to having a glass of wine or two – especially when his celebrity friends pop over for fun visits or livestreams.
The Primary Bedroom
One fun fact about Brown’s bedroom is that it was inspired by the Four Seasons, one of his favorite places to stay. The love runs so deep; he even got the comforter and bedding fashioned after the ones they have at the hotels. And yes, that is a hyperbaric chamber sitting pretty near the window.

When you’re an athlete like Brown, you need something to help your recovery after major games. And that’s exactly why an electric foam roller (like the one on the left of this picture) is a staple and readily accessible.
The Primary Closet
Brown’s James Bond-like closet was imported from Italy. Although it took a while to get here, according to the basketball star, it was well worth the wait. The tempered glass, organizational setup, and more make this one of his favorite spaces.
The Shoe Closet
To be clear, this isn’t the only place Brown keeps his sneakers. But this is one of the nicest-looking displays, featuring custom Kobes and more!
The Primary Bathroom
As we previously mentioned, Brown did some remodeling to this penthouse. One space he’s especially proud of is the primary bathroom, of which he said he “demolished” everything. In it, he included 24-karat gold finishes, Italian marble flooring, and a $20,000 toilet that makes ocean noises when it flushes.
The Speakeasy
If this speakeasy looks familiar, it’s because it’s where Brown does his livestreams. We’ve got to admit, it does look pretty cozy. It’s the perfect place to let people virtually inside!
Brown’s Trophy Case
Brown’s trophy case, also located in the speakeasy, isn’t just home to his wins, but it also includes his grandfather’s and father’s championship boxing belts. It’s a sweet way to honor his present accomplishments while paying tribute to the wins of his family’s past.
