There hasn’t been much news concerning the divorce between Tia Mowry and her ex-hubby Cory Hardrict since the ink officially dried in April 2023. However, they are back in the spotlight after new details about their split have finally been revealed.
As we previously told you, the couple announced they were parting ways in October 2022, after being married for 14 years. The news, while shocking, turned out to be a drama-free affair as the two made their decisions about assets, coparenting, custody, and future relationships pretty clear. In June 2023, they mutually agreed to share legal and physical custody of their two children, son Cree, 15, and daughter Cairo, 8, and set boundaries regarding their new romantic relationships.

Now, in new court documents obtained by TMZ, it appears those custody parameters have gotten a little more specific. In the new filing, Mowry and Hardrict have now agreed that they won’t do unexpected visits to each other’s homes unless invited by the other person or unless it’s connected to a previously agreed-upon “custody exchange.”
The “Sister, Sister” star has now also agreed to let the “Divorce in Black” star spend time with their kids even when it’s her turn, but specified that his time must be “spent with both minor children,” unless it’s not possible for whatever reason. Additionally, Hardrict must also have the kids back home to Mowry by 9 p.m. after their shared time.
What’s interesting to note is that these new rules come just weeks after Mowry publicly debuted her new relationship with Javon’e Williams, a Cleveland-born artist, teacher, and designer.
Describing him as a “great man,” she recently gushed over him to Entertainment Tonight, commending him for his “emotional awareness,” being an avid reader, and being “amazing” overall. She also went into detail about how she manifested the man after getting clear on what she wanted and getting herself ready.
