TikToker Discovers Long-Lost Dad is the Star of Jill Scott’s Famous Music Video

Can you imagine trying to find out who your long-lost father is, only for him to pop up as Jill Scott’s romantic partner in a music video? Well, that is exactly ikToker Lord Keo claims happened to him, and when you hear his story, you will be in stitches.

Keo shocked folks online by explaining that his mom revealed his biological dad’s identity not by pointing out a distant neighbor he had seen in the street or a relative in old, dusty photo albums. Instead, she turned on some Jilly from Philly.

“My mom showed me my pops, like my biological dad, via a Jill Scott music video. ‘A Long Walk’ to be specific. If you’ve seen that music video, the love interest is my fucking dad,” Keo said.

And while Keo’s dad doesn’t pop up until the last 20 seconds of the music video, as soon as folks on TikTok saw him, they spotted the resemblance.

“Omg, as an elder millennial, I knew exactly who you were talking about immediately,” wrote one user.

“I knew who he was as soon as you said, ‘via a Jill Scott music video,” added another.

“Oh, baby, we believe you. He can’t deny you at ALL,” commented a third.

To be fair to the TikTok commenters, the resemblance between Keo and his pops sure is uncanny.

The Grammy-nominated tune was released in 2000 along with her debut album, “Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.” The album landed at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 while “A Long Walk” peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to the Grammy Awards. The music video is about going on a long, intimate walk with the person you love so you can just have a good conversation together.

And if it wasn’t enough to know your dad was in one music video, one of Keo’s followers pointed out that he’s also in Ruff Endz’s “Someone to Love You” video.

“This is the craziest thing,” Keo said in response to the comment. “I’ve never seen that music video in my life. I know the song, ain’t never seen the video until today. This n***a was a video vixen, that’s crazy.”

Folks in the TikTok comments added that they had definitely seen Keo’s dad in multiple music videos.

“I feel like he was in a lot of music videos back then,” wrote one user.

“He was everywhere but the house,” joked another.

But when asked whether he would ever want the chance to meet or get to know his father, Keo gives a strong hell to the no. As for the dad, he remains unidentified because he is not credited on popular casting sites such as IMDb and has not spoken out about his son’s TikTok.
