Hard Launch: 5 Things To Know About Halle Bailey’s New Boyfriend, Record Producer Scott Bridgeway

Bridgeway’s connection to his lady’s family dates back to 2023. He worked with her big sister Chloe Bailey on her track, “Fallin 4 U” off of her first solo album, In Pieces, released that same year.

His big break came through Call of Duty.

Literally. So as the story goes, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bridgeway was playing the beloved video game while music that he produced was playing in the background. He was just playing it to match the vibes of everyone having fun gaming, but luckily enough, one of the other individuals he was playing with online overheard the tunes. That person happened to also be a producer, a well-known one named Cardo, who has his own collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Meek Mill, Jeezy, and many more in rap. That chance encounter led Cardo to want to work together on rapper and producer Baby Keem’s (Lamar’s cousin) first album, 2021’s The Melodic Blue. Bridgeway ended up with production credits on 10 songs. It was up from there.

His musical taste comes from his mom.

The Roanoke-bred producer told Virginia-based publication Cardinal News in 2025 that his mom, a former DJ who grew up in a householdrel=”tag”>black celebrity couples
