The legal proceedings in the case against rapper Pooh Shiesty and the alleged kidnapping and gunpoint robbery he and seven others are accused of committing on Gucci Mane are still ongoing. But now, we’ve got new details on how Shiesty and his group allegedly pulled it off in the first place.
If you’ll remember, we previously told you that the crew was arrested in January. Shiesty (legally Lontrell Williams Jr.) and his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., allegedly orchestrated the plot in an effort to force a contract release. During the robbery, the father and son, along with the additional suspects, allegedly took off with Rolex watches, cash and other jewelry. If convicted, they all face up to life in prison.
We also told you that Shiesty was violating his home detention order when he allegedly committed this crime. So how exactly was he able to allegedly side-step it? Well, according to legal documents obtained by Complex on Monday, it turns out that the “Back in Blood” artist was allegedly having an “inappropriate” relationship with his case supervisor, who allegedly helped him get free from his home.

The supervisor—who worked specifically for Volunteers of America (a nonprofit that’s regularly contracted by the Bureau of Prisons)—often supplied Shiesty with “fake day passes” so he could go as he pleased. Those passes were allegedly once again used on the very same day the kidnapping and robbery occurred.
“Williams Jr. routinely failed to abide by these conditions throughout the course of his home confinement, assisted in skirting these requirements through the help of collusive VOA employees,” the documents read. “Investigators have now learned that Williams Jr. was involved in an inappropriate relationship with at least one of his VOA case supervisors, and that this VOA employee was actively involved in entering fake day passes that would allow Williams Jr. to travel to unapproved locations while he was supposed to be confined to his residence.”
Shiesty was also allegedly using drugs and drinking alcohol while doing home detention, two things he was told explicitly not to engage with as they were violations of his condition. In light of these new details, prosecutors in the case are pushing to keep Shiesty behind bars as he waits for his day in court in February 2027.
What’s more is that Memphis station Fox 13 also obtained photos allegedly from the night of the kidnapping and robbery, which show one of the seven men pointing an AK-47 at Mane and screenshots of Shiesty’s texts in which he allegedly divulges logistics for the crime.
