Rihanna’s daughter Rocki Irish just turned one, and the internet can’t get enough of the birthday girl, who may be on her way to becoming a fashion icon. Over the weekend, Rihanna shared a rare look into her youngest child’s life, posting new photos and videos to Instagram from Rocki’s first birthday. Playful videos of Rocki in a wig, Rihanna showing off tiny moon boots, and Rocki claiming a Louis Vuitton Speedy bag as her own showed a glimpse of her personality and apparent affinity for fashion.
Rocki’s birthday was September 13, and on Sunday, September 27, Rihanna took to Instagram to celebrate with a carousel of 19 sweet moments. The post was special because Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, have been famously protective of their children’s privacy, sharing pictures of RZA, four, Riot, three and baby Rocki occasionally.
The first video shows Rocki making her mom laugh while wearing a long black wig, though she quickly lost interest. She was then captured in a photo wearing what looks like the same wig with pink curlers, like her father, ready for a fire roller set!
People were quick to notice Rocki’s draw to luxury in another video when she played with her mom’s Louis Vuitton Speedy bag and cried when Rihanna took it. At this point, we’re pretty sure it belongs to Rocki now.

Rocki’s interests go beyond her mom’s accessories. The birthday post also showed everyday moments, like her napping, dressed for splash time in a baby bikini, and trying scrambled eggs for the first time.
One especially cute video shows Rocki in a bonnet, looking right at the camera and saying “hey” with cheeks that could melt anyone’s heart.
The “Only Girl (In the World)” singer seems to love watching her daughter grow up. She captioned the post, “who let me have a daughter, bro?” A$AP Rocky joined in too, commenting, “MY FATTY BUMS
.”
Rocki has already been in the fashion spotlight this year, appearing on two album covers. She was on the cover of W Magazine’s April pop issue with Rihanna, and then on the cover of W Magazine China in September with A$AP Rocky.
Now that we’ve seen the “couture baby” in action, it’s clear from these birthday photos and videos that Rocki is already picking up on the family’s fashion sense.
