Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis will be reuniting with her “The Woman King” director, Gina Prince-Bythewood, for this new fantasy tale. In the film, she’ll play Mama Agba, a seer who now trains “young divîners.”

Cynthia Erivo will portray King Saran’s second-in-command, Commander Kaea.
Regina King & Chiwetel Ejiofor
Insanely talented actors Regina King and “Backrooms” star Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Queen Nehanda and King Saran, respectively, in the film. King Saran is the oppressive ruler of the Orisha kingdom.
